 Each Laaf arrives with an official Laaf Passport detailing the family history and personal information.  One important page of the passport is a reply card addressed to Mother Lot and adoptive parents are encourages to send the card to let her know where her children are living throughout the world.  This, also, registers the owner as an official adoptive parent. 
 The passport tells the story of the Laafs and contains a unique number.
 The Laaf coin is included in the adoption booklet and is designed to be placed in a specific spot on each piece.
 Should a Laaf become sick or break an arm, he can be sent to the Laaf Hospital where he will receive proper care and fully recover.
 Each Laaf can be insured against theft or other mishaps.
